The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust,

in partnership with REI, invites you to spend the day at historic Ball Ranch

Admission is free, and the property will be open to the public for hiking, biking, fishing and fun.  Visitors can explore the property on their own, or take part in one of the free activities offered throughout the day.  Autumn is a beautiful time in the Central Valley, so join us to explore all the San Joaquin has to offer!

FREE family-friendly events:

8:30 am:  Nature Walk - led by Clary Creager

10:30 am: Nature Walk - led by Frank Helling

11:30 am: Fly Fishing Demo & Instruction - led by local flyfishermen

12:30 pm: "The Wilderness Adventures of John Muir" Brown Bag Lunch Presentation - presented by Muir reenactor Frank Helling.

 

To get to Ball Ranch from HWY 41:

-Take the Friant Rd exit and head North

-Pass Willow Ave on your right; Ball Ranch is 1 mile north

-Cross over Dry Creek bed

 

-Ball Ranch is immediately on your left
